I’m writing this ….. in September. It’s still incredibly warm, the trees are still leaf covered and my garden is still very much my favourite place to be at all hours outside of work. So it can’t be nearly Christmas? But for the CO Kids Early Years Photography Team it is!

Have you ever tried purchasing Festive props and decorations this early in the year? It’s a fun yet tricky adventure, and luckily for us we are now expert at it.

Why so early?

Please let me explain – we at CO Kids photograph at nearly 100 nurseries now and we know that parents love the festive style photo galleries produced. It’s fun, super cute and provides a great Christmas Gift Opportunity. In order to make sure that absolutely all photographs are available in plenty of time for pre-Christmas delivery, we need to get cracking early and photograph throughout October and November!

The CO Kids Team bring a beautiful festive set to nursery with twinkly lights, soft furs, rustic wooden stars and trees to create a really natural feeling festive photo wonderland!

As parents you can enhance this by adding Christmas Jumpers, Dresses or any wintery outfit of your choice.

Of course, not all nursery children celebrate Christmas and this is not a problem in the least.

We can quickly transform the set to offer a winter feel without the Christmas specific props in order to create a lovely soft background for your little one’s nursery photographs. Fun for

all!

Still think it’s too early?

You’d be surprised how quickly children (and staff) get into the spirit and of course who doesn’t enjoy the jingling of bells? Although we must admit …. Christmas songs do fill the air at times - we can’t help it!

To be honest – I quite enjoy an early injection of Christmas into our lives. It’s fun to be around, the children love it. It’s also a chance to get those all important letters to Santa on the go as you can guarantee many little minds will start to think about what they might like.

And just maybe, encourage them all to be well behaved in the lead up and ensure their place on the ‘good list’.
